Disposable clothing

To meet hygiene requirements in cleanrooms, the use of special clothing is often necessary. The user has the choice between reusable and disposable clothing.

For the use of reusable clothing, the development of a washing concept must be carried out. A cost-effective alternative is the use of disposable clothing.

The requirements for the properties of the material are the same as for reusable clothing: lint-free, breathable, abrasion-resistant, antistatic, and possibly resistant to chemicals.

Depending on the application, different materials are used. For areas with lower hygiene requirements, clothing made from a breathable polypropylene spunbond can be used. For applications involving chemicals, TYVEK clothing made from polyethylene is suitable. The material is also antistatic and very tear-resistant. In high-risk areas, KLEENGUARD protective clothing is used. It offers general protection against water and chemical splashes, liquids, and dust particles.

For high hygiene standards, the use of sterile disposable clothing in Bio-D quality is recommended. The sterile clothing made from durable, very lightweight, and antistatic material is suitable for use in ISO Class 4 cleanrooms. It provides maximum protection as well as comfortable wear. All models are also available unsterilized.
