Cleanroom conveyor belts TB30R and TB40R: Two drive concepts compared

The cleanroom conveyor belts TB30R and TB40R from Montech are designed for contamination-critical production processes. Both models feature FDA-compliant conveyor belts with sealed edges, wear-resistant materials, and easy-to-clean constructions. Differences mainly lie in the drive systems and available conveyor widths.

While the TB30R is available with head or center drive and conveyor widths from 80 to 250 mm, the TB40R has a 24 V DC motor integrated directly into the drive roller and offers conveyor widths from 300 to 800 mm. Selected versions of both systems are certified by Fraunhofer IPA for cleanroom applications up to ISO 4 air cleanliness class.
