Cleanroom conveyor belt for the pharmaceutical industry

With the cleanroom and vacuum conveyor belt, the Swiss automation specialist Montech offers conveying solutions for the pharmaceutical industry.

The cleanroom conveyor belt is certified by the Fraunhofer Institute for use in ISO 5 cleanroom class. The widths are selectable from 45 mm to 250 mm. The chassis of the cleanroom conveyor belt features T-slots – for example, for sensors – which can be covered with a plastic profile; the belt is not only suitable for cleanroom environments but also FDA-approved.

Vacuum belt for fast transport

The vacuum conveyor belt transports blisters and packaging of all kinds – even overhead – at a speed of five meters per second. Compared to conventional conveyor belts, Montech's vacuum belt has a more dynamic acceleration and deceleration ramp, as well as a higher transport speed. Gianluca Aloisi, Director Sales: “Conventional handling solutions have unproductive return runs. Montech's vacuum conveyor belt has no return run, thus helping to increase productivity in production.” Furthermore, it is more cost-effective. Another advantage over other systems, according to Aloisi, is the compact design of the vacuum belt.

Infeed/outfeed belts, linking of systems, or buffer belts
Montech conveyor belts are used by pharmaceutical companies as infeed and outfeed belts in individual production lines, including in the packaging area, for linking production processes, or as buffer belts. Thanks to the modular design of the conveyor belts, they can be assembled individually and extended or shortened easily and cost-effectively at any time.
