The production of highly sensitive products in cleanrooms requires employees to wear specially adapted cleanroom clothing tailored to the specific requirements. Humans pose the greatest risk of introducing microparticles and microorganisms into the cleanroom. This risk must be eliminated through appropriate protective measures.

Only reusable outer garments are suitable for this purpose. The polyester-based material guarantees low particle emission. The incorporated carbon fiber provides excellent antistatic properties. Coveralls, coats, hoods, masks, and overshoes are available in many different styles and colors. Custom requests are also gladly fulfilled according to customer specifications.

It has been proven that the street clothing worn under the cleanroom clothing presents a significant contamination risk. Abrasion particles and contaminants already introduced with the clothing can be released into the cleanroom.

The use of special interim clothing instead of regular street clothing significantly reduces particle contamination! The polyester-based undergarments offer excellent wearing comfort. Available are long underpants as well as short- and long-sleeve T-shirts.                                                                                                                       

It must be noted that reusable clothing must be regularly decontaminated to maintain the cleanliness class! In cooperation with a competent partner, HJM also offers a cleaning service for ISO 5-7.

Depending on the specifications of the cleanroom, disposable clothing may also be used. It is a cost-effective alternative to reusable clothing – the development of a washing concept is unnecessary. However, the requirements for the material properties are the same as for reusable clothing: lint-free, breathable, abrasion-resistant, antistatic, and possibly chemical-resistant.
