Claw shells – grippy and slender

Elegant, concealed or visible screwed and available in various surfaces and colors: The new handle shells GN 7330 and GN 7332 expand Ganter's comprehensive standard parts range.

Unlike regular handles, handle shells have the advantage that they are surface-mounted, making them especially suitable where space needs to be saved, such as in vehicle construction or in the manufacture of flight cases for event technology.

The standard parts specialist Ganter from the Black Forest presents two new products with its handle shells GN 7330 and GN 7332, which offer customers two different mounting options as standard: The handle shells can be mounted either from the front with countersunk screws or from the back with concealed threaded pins. Additionally, Ganter offers both handle shells with or without a seal.

In the sealed front-mount versions, countersunk seal screws, along with the housing seal, prevent the ingress of any liquids or dust into the housing interior. The robust construction has proven in tests that it optimally meets the protection class IP 66 "Protection against dust ingress" and "Protection against powerful water jets from any angle."

The GN 7330 handle shell is manufactured using die-cast zinc and is standardly supplied in black or silver with powder coating. Depending on customer requirements, it can also be coated in any other color. Furthermore, Ganter customers can choose between two different housing lengths of 127 mm and 155 mm.

The stainless steel handle shells GN 7332 are available with a length of 155 mm and are made from high-quality, deep-drawn, corrosion-resistant stainless steel sheet with a fine-matte surface. The threaded pins mounted from the back for mounting are not visible from the front, allowing for discreet attachment of the elegantly designed handle elements.
