Christophe Coulongeat becomes Head of the Robotics Business Unit

Stäubli Robotics, a globally leading provider of automation solutions, begins the year 2021 under new leadership. Christophe Coulongeat takes over the Robotics division from Gerald Vogt, who becomes the new CEO of the Stäubli Group on January 1, 2021.

In his new role, Christophe Coulongeat also joins the company's executive board. The native Frenchman has been with Stäubli since 2018 as Deputy Head of the Robotics Business Unit. Previously, he gained extensive experience in the packaging and automation industry in France, Austria, the United Arab Emirates, and Switzerland. With this seamless management succession, Stäubli Robotics continues its global growth strategy.

I am convinced that he will further develop and elevate the worldwide robotics business of the Stäubli Group,” explains Gerald Vogt, new CEO of the Stäubli Group and former head of the Robotics division.

Christophe Coulongeat holds an engineering degree from the University of Poitiers and a Bachelor of Science in International Business Management from ESVII. Additionally, he has participated in executive training programs at the IMD Business School, MIT Sloan School of Management, and Columbia Business School.
