Due to the great interest in Plasma-BOD, the technology of Wammes and Partner GmbH now has its own website. The company has developed its display cleaning concept into a universal and mobile surface disinfectant. As a result, mobile small devices for effective and software-controlled disinfection can now be developed using a plasma-based active principle, without the use of chemicals or UV light.

Plasma-BOD allows the integration of precisely controllable atmospheric plasma generators into various applications such as hand dryers, vacuum robots, air conditioning units, or mobile small devices. Disinfection is achieved by generating exactly adjustable amounts of short-term stable, high-energy micro- and nano-particles that are biocidal against small and tiny viruses and bacteria. To use the technology, only ambient air and energy from batteries or power outlets are needed. This method enables chemical-free disinfection of surfaces of all kinds, including human skin.
