The new LED luminaire "protection IPA" from Regiolux meets ISO Class 1 according to DIN EN ISO 14644-1, thus fulfilling the highest requirements for air cleanliness. The luminaires are manufactured in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) quality assurance guidelines. The protection IPA is demonstrably suitable for all cleanroom conditions. It features a higher protection rating of IP54 and has been tested and certified by the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology and Automation IPA. Not only does it meet the highest class for air cleanliness, but the materials used in the luminaire have also been tested and certified for their ease of cleaning, chemical resistance, and microbial biodegradability. The luminaire received the "Fraunhofer Tested Device" certificate, an internationally renowned mark of purity suitability.

The protection IPA is therefore versatile — whether in microelectronics manufacturing areas, medical technology, the food industry, or research and development. With its excellent technical values, the luminaire ensures safety and reliability in sensitive areas. The protection IPA is easy to clean and requires minimal maintenance. This is guaranteed by high-quality components, such as LEDs with a lifespan of 50,000 hours (L80 B10). The design and protection class of the luminaire are arranged to minimize dirt accumulation. It is easy to clean, resistant to many chemical substances, and features a suitable surface to prevent microbial contamination of the final product.

The built-in luminaire with microprism cover achieves high-quality lighting with a performance of 4,200 lm (light color 840 neutral white, Ra > 80) and is suitable for modern screen workstations thanks to its good glare control. Its efficiency is 112 lm/W. It is equipped with an additional ceiling-side sealing. The luminaire can be installed in system ceilings with visible T-rails, in concealed symmetrical ceilings, and in cut-out ceilings. It is available in square (600 or 625 modules) and rectangular designs. Additionally, there is a pendant version (5,000 lm) with an iced cover for demanding general lighting, available in the same design.
