CEC Working Group publishes Manual Re-Inspection Guide

The CEC Working Group "Manual Re-Inspection" has developed a guideline for manual re-inspection within the framework of automated light-optical evaluation according to VDA 19.1. This is now available free of charge to all interested parties through the CEC.

In regular discussion rounds, the CEC Working Group Manual Re-Inspection, founded at the beginning of 2021, addressed a guideline for evaluating particles and fibers during reworking in light-optical cleanliness analyses according to VDA 19.1. The individual assessment during reworking has a significant impact on the analysis result in cleanliness evaluations. The created recommendation aims to provide users of the analysis systems with orientation and thus contribute to standardized and comparable reworking. Experts from the CEC member companies CleanControlling GmbH, Fraunhofer IPA, dhs Dietermann & Heuser Solutions GmbH, Evident Europe GmbH, PMT Partikel-Messtechnik GmbH, TU Dortmund, and Höckh Metall-Reinigungsanlagen GmbH collaborated across networks to develop the guideline. As a result, the guideline for Manual Re-Inspection was created with extensive image examples and suggestions for a uniform procedure.
