Carpus+Partner is "Innovator of the Year 2018"

The business portal "The German Economy" has once again invited the public to vote for the "Innovator of the Year 2018" at the largest audience award in German business. 10,341 votes decided: On May 9th, 18 medium-sized companies were awarded at the Düsseldorf Business Club in six categories – including the Aachen-based Carpus+Partner AG. For its innovation-promoting office, research, and university buildings, the planning and consulting firm was awarded the title "Innovator of the Year 2018" in the "Work Environments" category. The award was presented by NRW Minister of Economics Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart.

All winners share one thing: they are drivers of innovation in their industry, which should be supported. Because Germany's progress is primarily attributed to their entrepreneurial spirit and unique business models, Pinkwart emphasized in his opening speech.

Buildings that Increase Knowledge

The approach of Carpus+Partner is also unique. With the mission "Buildings that Increase Knowledge – For a Hopeful Future," the experts for highly complex laboratory, production, and office buildings plan and realize individual work environments. In implementing these projects, the interdisciplinary team relies on a highly communicative development process, involving clients and future users from the initial idea to the finished building. This results in spaces where people collaborate enthusiastically and create new knowledge together.

"We are experiencing a paradigm shift in the philosophy of companies, whereby designing knowledge and innovation processes is increasingly becoming a central task of corporate architecture. Building architecture is taking on a completely new significance," explains CEO Tobias Ell. Not least because the planners and consultants, with their innovative ideas, also enable other people to think anew, the company was awarded "Innovator of the Year 2018." "The award is a very special honor for us – it motivates us," Ell says with enthusiasm.
