Calibration made easy

smartGAS has significantly expanded the functionality of its Calibration Tool. Users benefit from many new features and can now use the software free of charge for a certain period immediately after downloading, without a license key.

The smartGAS Calibration Tool was developed to make the calibration of sensors in the EVO series as simple as possible. Already, users could, for example, read sensor information and operating states with the software or set the zero point or end point using an appropriate test gas.

With the revision of the Calibration Tool, some practical features have been added: the zero point of a sensor can now be reset to the factory setting ("Reset Zero"), and the same applies to the sensor's measurement range end value ("Reset Span"). Additionally, the gas concentration during the calibration process is now displayed to the user via an optical indicator.

To provide a good overview, diagrams with the calibration measurement values are now included in the software's final report.

Another advantage is the new "Export File" function: if an error occurs, the complete data set of the sensor can be transmitted to smartGAS. This allows for initial remote diagnostics and faster troubleshooting.

The new smartGAS Calibration Tool is immediately usable unlike the previous version — a license key must only be purchased after a certain period.
