Topics such as whether nora nTx can be installed on all substrates, how to prepare them, and whether the residual moisture of the floor needs to be measured—these and other topics are discussed in detail during the training, with nora specialists also happy to address individual participant requests. In addition to a theoretical and practical part, where the processing is demonstrated step-by-step, there is also a plant tour.

Tips for cleaning managers and service providers

nora flooring leaves the Weinheim factory as premium products. To ensure they look good over the long term in daily use, proper cleaning is of great importance. Depending on the object, very specific hygiene guidelines often need to be followed—a challenge for cleaning managers and service providers. Here, nora application technicians are available to assist. They demonstrate, among other things, how even difficult stains can be easily removed from uncoated nora surfaces, provide tips for restoring damaged surfaces, and discuss different cleaning methods. Additional service: under certain conditions, such as when training a larger group of employees at a site, the nora application team also offers on-site in-house seminars.

Training for planners on ESD protection

For planners involved in the construction of industrial or production buildings, nora systems offers training on electrostatics and ESD protection. "The demand is high," says Christian Fleuren, market segment manager for industry at nora systems, who leads the seminars. "Terms like conductivity, dissipative properties, or antistatic are not part of architecture studies. However, clients expect relevant knowledge when implementing architectural solutions." In the design of production facilities, laboratories, or research institutions, electrostatics and ESD protection play a central role in communication with clients and users. Therefore, this topic is a top priority in in-house workshops at architectural firms. But other aspects, such as media resistance or the dynamic-mechanical load capacity of floors, are also discussed alongside individual or project-specific questions. After coordination, additional experts from the German ESD Network (www.deutsches-esd-netzwerk.de) can also participate in the in-house events and share their expertise.
