The Busch Group celebrates a significant expansion of its activities in Austria: The Vacuum Competence Center in Korneuburg is the new headquarters of Busch Vacuum Solutions and Pfeiffer Vacuum.

The new Vacuum Competence Center covers a total area of nearly 3,800 m². Here, the two companies Busch Vacuum Solutions and Pfeiffer Vacuum, with nearly 60 employees, offer their Austrian customers the full range of products and services for modern vacuum and leak detection solutions. A reason to celebrate.

On the occasion of the opening celebration, Kaya Busch, co-owner and Co-CEO of Busch Vacuum Solutions, welcomed numerous customers, sales partners, and employees: "With the opening of the Vacuum Competence Center in Korneuburg, we at Busch Group have taken another important step to strengthen our market position in Austria and to continuously improve our service and product offerings." Karl Seiberl, Managing Director of Pfeiffer Vacuum Austria, added: "Within the Busch Group, this is the first location where both companies are united under one roof. We are proud to now be able to offer our customers and partners the entire vacuum expertise."

Exploring the World of Vacuum

On this occasion, there was an exhibition of the latest products from the Busch Group. In addition to vacuum pumps, leak detection devices and mass spectrometers were also demonstrated. During the tour of the new site, it quickly became clear that doubling the service area enables an important expansion of the service offerings. Additional rooms are dedicated to creating customized solutions. As another highlight of the opening, the "Vacuum Course" offered all guests the opportunity to discover the fascinating world of vacuum. This course playfully conveyed the basics of leak detection and the operation of vacuum pumps. Guests were challenged to master various tasks. Among other things, they were allowed to check a built-up vacuum apparatus for airtightness. To demonstrate the quiet operation of the new HiScroll pump, it was necessary to identify which of three side-by-side installed vacuum pumps was actually in operation. The winners could look forward to attractive prizes.
