BOY for the first time at KUTENO

The significance of Fakuma for the South German plastics processors is increasingly being taken over by the trade fair Kunststofftechnik Nord – short KUTENO – for Northern Germany. At the three-day event in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, BOY, together with its partner company WIS Kunststoffe GmbH, presented the interested "Northerners" the injection molding machine BOY 25 E.

"A consistently large number of technical discussions at a high level in a relaxed and informal atmosphere," summarizes Dirk Steinbach, BOY sales advisor on site. Like the numerous visitors, he was also enthusiastic about the ambiance of KUTENO. And he adds: "Such an event was missing in the North for us. For next year's event, we will register again spontaneously."

The BOY 25 E (250 kN clamping force) convinced the visitors of KUTENO primarily through its compactness (1.8 m²), drive efficiency with high smoothness of the servo motor, and ease of operation through the machine control Procan ALPHA. The space-saving integration of peripheral and automation devices was demonstrated by the BOY 25 E with a fully integrated part removal picker under the protective cover.

This injection molding machine from the manufacturer based in Neustadt-Fernthal is based on the experience of over 25,000 machines delivered since 1968 in this series. Advantages of the current model include an increase to 250 kN clamping force and the possibility of differential injection, which allows for increased injection speeds. Six sizes of injection units with seven different screw diameters for thermoplastics, elastomers, silicones, and thermosets as well as metals and ceramics (PIM technology) offer a wide range of equipment options.
