Bauer Gear Motor showcased suitable drives for hygienic areas at LogiMAT 2025 in Stuttgart

At LogiMAT, the HiflexDRIVE was showcased, a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) available in both stainless steel and aseptically coated versions. The completely smooth outer housing without cooling fins facilitates cleaning and prevents recontamination. With protection class IP69K, the drive is therefore ideal for wet cleaning environments. The PMSM design reduces the rotor's heat losses by 100% during operation and overall losses by 25%, with a 10% higher total efficiency. The HiflexDRIVE is the perfect combination of ease of maintenance and efficiency, making it ideal for conveyor and processing systems in hygienic areas.

In addition to the HiflexDRIVE, Regal Rexnord introduced the hygiene solutions of another brand: Boston Gear. The worm gearboxes Gen 2 SS700 in stainless steel housing with protection class IP69K are characterized by excellent performance and durability in wet cleaning areas. The SS700, optimized for conveyor systems, impresses with very high energy efficiency and low operating temperatures. The recently expanded model range, with new sizes and larger boreholes for the output shaft, covers a wide range of applications.
