Basan has been operating as VWR International since January 1, 2014

Through the acquisition, the sales and service capabilities of both companies in the cleanroom sector will be further expanded, offering customers of basan and VWR International an even broader range of products and services.

In this process, basan – the cleanroom division of VWR – will be maintained as an independent brand and will stand for expertise in cleanroom and controlled production areas.

As part of the merger of both companies, basan GmbH, Kelsterbach, will be registered as VWR International GmbH effective January 1, 2014. Even in the new configuration, the familiar contacts at the Kelsterbach location will be available for products and services related to cleanrooms and controlled production conditions under the known contact details.
