The Switzerland-wide textile service provider Bardusch AG, headquartered in Basel, acquires all production facilities and all employees of the Reinhard large laundry in Uetendorf and Thun. Reinhard as a brand remains in existence and now perfectly complements Bardusch's service offerings. With eight locations, Bardusch is one of the leading providers of textile management for healthcare, industry, and hospitality. Carlos Reinhard remains the owner of the properties and will now focus on the chairmanship of the supervisory board.
 
With the signing of the contract, Bardusch AG has immediately taken over the entire operational area of the Reinhard large laundry, as well as all employees at both production sites in Uetendorf and Thun. The two parties have agreed to keep the purchase price confidential. For the previous owner, Carlos Reinhard, the acquisition of over 50 employees was a fundamental condition for the sale: "For the city and region of Thun, we have been an important employer for years with our family business in the third generation. Accordingly, it was important to me that the new owner takes over the entire workforce. We found the perfect partner in Bardusch AG. Both are traditional family businesses with Swiss values – so it's a win-win for everyone involved," said Carlos Reinhard convincingly, adding: "Living innovation also means exploring new ways, developing further. Through the merger, synergies are bundled, ensuring long-term growth in a highly competitive market. Not only was the timing right for a sale, but from a strategic perspective, the momentum for a restart is perfect." Carlos Reinhard remains the owner of the two operational properties and will now focus on the chairmanship of the supervisory board.

Commitment to the Swiss manufacturing site and the Thun region

With the two new locations in the Bern/Thun region, Bardusch increases its logistical presence in Switzerland.
