The Ettlingen-based company group Bardusch is growing and developing alongside its customers and market demands. Customer proximity and service orientation are integral parts of the company's philosophy.

The use and implementation of new technologies are important tools in this process. Bardusch acts as both an idea generator and an innovation driver.

Requirements are particularly high in the industry. Bardusch offers many specialized services here. Companies can obtain, among other things, warning clothing, permanently flame-retardant welding protective clothing, as well as protective clothing against cold, heat, or hazardous chemicals. A special technical highlight is the highly sensitive cleanroom technology.

In a cleanroom, no particles, no matter how small, are allowed to disturb the functionality of sensitive objects. Special clothing made from high-density material prevents particles and germs from the human body from entering the room air and thus reaching the products.

The cleaning of textiles is the king discipline of textile care, mastered by only a few specialists. Bardusch is among them. The used cleanroom textiles are collected with the company's own fleet and introduced into a separate area. There, a careful inspection takes place. Further steps include multiple disinfection washing cycles in special machines with pass-through functions into the actual cleanroom. Several disinfection and decontamination procedures are used here. The environmentally friendly water and air treatment systems ensure minimal environmental impact.

Parameters for room and water conditions are continuously monitored via online monitoring. The cleanroom textiles are packed in special PE bags or autoclave bags, sterilized, and transported to the customer. Bardusch's cleanroom packaging ensures that neither particles nor germs come into contact with the clothing during transport.

Bardusch offers cleanroom services to both hospitals and industrial companies.

Advanced technology is of little use if it does not reach the customer. Bardusch has created a complete cycle for its rental offerings. All processes are organized so that even the smallest washed sock returns to the employee at their workstation. A well-designed barcode system with computer monitoring ensures this.

The "Close to the Customer" concept traditionally also includes on-site presence. Bardusch originated from a branch business. In the initially more than 100 branches around Ettlingen, residents could drop off their laundry for washing and cleaning. Today, 16 production sites in Germany ensure short distances and excellent service. Whether bakery, large kitchen, kiosk, or hospital—Bardusch invests heavily in its branches. Investments amounted to EUR 3.5 million in 2010/2011, and will reach four million in 2012. Notably, the completion of Soltau and Augsburg. The Heilbronn location has been completely renovated, and Erfurt is in planning.

As a regionally rooted family business, the headquarters in Ettlingen plays a special role. Almost 700 employees work there. Ettlingen is the company's largest operation and one of the most modern textile care facilities in Europe.
