Baden-Württemberg Minister visits Arburg at MSV in Brünn

At the international machine tool fair MSV in Brno, Czech Republic, last week, Dr. Nils Schmid, Baden-Württemberg's Minister for Finance and Economics, gathered information about the international activities of Baden-Württemberg companies. The purpose of his trip was to learn more about the future market of Eastern Europe and to expand trade relations between Baden-Württemberg and the Czech Republic. During a tour of the fair, he visited the Arburg booth and gathered information from one of the world's leading manufacturers of injection molding machines.

"The focus of our trade fair activities is energy efficiency. Because many customers are focused on the most efficient possible parts production; accordingly, there is high demand for electric and hybrid machines," explained Jaroslav Novak, Managing Director of the Arburg branch in the Czech Republic, outlining the requirements of his market. He further explained that the individually configurable modular all-rounder injection molding machines meet high technical standards perfectly.

For Arburg, quality in the manufacturing of innovative injection molding technology "Made in Germany" is of utmost importance. The technologically leading family business is present worldwide, and the Czech Republic is an important injection molding market. Value creation is concentrated at the Loßburg site in Germany — with great success.

As a farewell, Dr. Nils Schmid received a copy of the book "50 Years of Arburg Injection Molding Machines" from Jaroslav Novak and was invited to visit the Loßburg headquarters. The minister was impressed by Arburg and the fair tour, which included other exhibitors and the Baden-Württemberg joint stand. The MSV offered a good opportunity to learn firsthand about business opportunities in the Czech Republic and to engage in conversations with potential project partners.
