B+K impresses with header bag at trade fair in Paris

The Lengerich-based company Bischof + Klein is a specialist in packaging solutions. At the international trade fair "Pharmapack Europe" in Paris, the company is showcasing flexible packaging of Class 5.

With its high-purity packaging and film solutions under the brand CleanFlex® for cleanrooms, Bischof + Klein (B + K) is positioning itself for growth. Pharmapack Europe in Paris confirmed the expectations that the Lengerich-based packaging and film specialist has set for this market. 290 exhibitors (80 of whom are new) from 27 countries attracted 3,000 visitors to Paris. In combination with a conference, Pharmapack offers, according to the company, the opportunity to exchange ideas with representatives of the entire process chain for the production of pharmaceutical and medical substances about developments and trends. "Here, we meet all our current and potential customers," said CleanFlex® product manager Benjamin Kepp. He particularly appreciates the familiar atmosphere that this event has preserved despite its strong growth. Bischof + Klein is the only manufacturer of flexible packaging to produce a header bag under cleanroom conditions of Class 5. This special packaging is especially used in the production of single-use syringes and is attracting great interest. The necessary sterility of the syringe systems can only be guaranteed if the particles are significantly reduced, according to the announcement. Otherwise, they would serve as a breeding ground for dangerous microorganisms.
