At the festive ceremony of the 28th competition for the most important German business award, the "Great Prize of the Mittelstand 2022" in Bonn, there was great joy when the three managing directors of Schilling Engineering GmbH were invited onto the stage. The Oskar-Patzelt Foundation selected this family business from Wutöschingen from 4,546 companies nominated nationwide and awarded it the Honor Plaque for its many years of convincing performance.

The special prize recognizes the innovation, sustainability, and social commitment of Schilling Engineering, which as a full-service provider of cleanroom systems, emphasizes high energy efficiency of its products and sustainable production.

The Oskar-Patzelt Foundation actively advocates for the Mittelstand and its recognition as the backbone of society. The initiator and founder of the foundation, Dr. Helfried Schmidt, emphasized in his greeting that all entrepreneurs should receive applause and encouragement daily: "Especially in the current Corona crisis, mutual appreciation and motivation must not be forgotten for those who secure jobs, training positions, taxes, levies, and their regions every day."
