The components of the automation system PSS 4000 are now approved as safety components for elevator applications by TÜV Austria. Elevator operators and manufacturers can now implement the strict safety regulations and specific requirements applicable to these applications in a technically independent, flexible, and simple manner with PSS 4000.

Applications in the areas of passenger, freight, and goods elevators, as well as for all types of hoists, are subject to strict safety regulations and must meet specific requirements. The granted approval certifies the suitability of the automation system PSS 4000 for such applications. These can be realized safely and efficiently with PSS 4000. The system is characterized by high robustness and ease of handling, offering users various functions such as emergency stop.

The TÜV approval was carried out according to DIN EN 115-1: Safety of escalators and moving walks – Part 1: Construction and installation, as well as DIN EN 81-1: Safety rules for the construction and installation of lifts – Part 1: Electric lifts for persons and goods, and DIN EN 81-2: Safety rules for the construction and installation of lifts – Part 2: Hydraulic lifts for persons and goods.
