"Automation On Tour 2014"

With two free seminar series "Safe Automation" and "Legal Requirements for the Operation of Machines and Systems," Pilz GmbH & Co. KG is once again "on tour" in 2014.

With two different seminars, Pilz GmbH & Co. KG is also going "on tour" across Germany in 2014: The seminar series "Safe Automation" answers questions from experts at Pilz on current topics related to machine safety. In addition to current standards, examples for the practical implementation of DIN EN ISO 13849-1 and -2 are presented. The seminar series on the topic "Legal Requirements for the Operation of Machines and Systems" focuses on occupational safety.

"Safe Automation" introduces the basics and implementation of DIN EN ISO 13849-1 and -2. Practical examples demonstrate how safety functions of machines can be calculated, verified, and validated in accordance with standards. Participants will learn during the seminar how safety functions can be implemented on machines.

The focus of the seminar series "Legal Requirements for the Operation of Machines and Systems" is on the requirements arising from the Occupational Safety and Health Ordinance for technical work equipment. The question of the underlying criteria for assessing the safety status of machines is clarified here. The seminar is primarily aimed at safety officers, technical buyers, as well as production and maintenance managers.
