Author team from Testo Industrial Services rewrites the chapter "Calibration" in the GMP Consultant

From practice, for practice: A four-person author team from Testo Industrial Services GmbH has examined the topic of calibration from various perspectives and compiled their expertise in the new chapter "Calibration" in the GMP-ADVISOR.

The update of the calibration chapter was initiated by Mr. Peither, the publisher of the GMP-ADVISOR. The GMP-ADVISOR is an important reference work for GMP-regulated industries, and the experts at Testo Industrial Services also frequently use it. Therefore, the motivation to contribute to this fundamental reference was great, and the authors quickly came together.

An interesting compendium on topics related to calibration has been created. The chapter provides answers to questions such as: What regulatory requirements must be observed? How is measurement traceability ensured? How can the organization and management of calibration be made efficient? What is measurement uncertainty and how is it calculated?

After completing the project, the authors Hansjörg Gutmann, Markus Kopf, Markus Salemink, and Christian Sander donated their fees to the construction of the children's and youth clinic at the University Hospital Freiburg. Testo Industrial Services gladly rounded up the amount for this good cause, and the publisher Maas & Peither was enthusiastic about the idea and spontaneously added another donation. This donation is part of the numerous social actions carried out by the employees of Testo Industrial Services as part of the charity project "20 Years – 20 Social Actions" to celebrate their company's anniversary this year.
