From September 12 to 13, 2023, the AM Expo and the Swiss Medtech Expo will take place at the Lucerne Fairgrounds. Combining trade shows, symposiums, and networking opportunities, they offer the chance to learn about innovative products, services, and solutions in additive manufacturing and medical technology, as well as to nurture personal networks.

The AM Expo and the Swiss Medtech Expo will be the meeting point for professional 3D printing and the Swiss Medtech industry from September 12 to 13, 2023. After 2021, the two trade fairs will be held simultaneously for the second time. The joint organization has proven successful, says exhibition director Sara Bussmann: "There are exciting synergies between the two fields. We can thus offer added value to visitors. The AM Expo and the Swiss Medtech Expo become a must-attend event for the entire industry." Around 250 exhibitors will present innovations related to various applications at both fairs.

Broad Topic Coverage

The AM Expo is the only trade fair in Switzerland that focuses exclusively on additive manufacturing. With seven focus topics, it offers a comprehensive range of subjects and addresses the most pressing questions. Special attention is given to sustainability, highlighting appropriate production processes and providing insights into energy efficiency in materials. Parallel to the AM Expo, the Swiss Medtech Expo offers orientation within the Swiss medtech industry. The focus topics address current challenges in a heterogeneous market and enable experience and knowledge exchange across various areas.

Knowledge Transfer at the Center

Both trade fairs feature symposiums that provide opportunities to learn about the current state of knowledge and get updates on current topics and application areas. Renowned keynote speakers discuss science, technology, and industry, while various presentations showcase advanced projects. "The symposiums are an important element and convey the latest professional knowledge. Visitors can look forward to diverse and informative lectures with high-caliber speakers," explains Sara Bussmann. The symposiums are structured according to application areas and focus topics of each respective fair.

Networking at the Wine & Cheese Party

The Wine & Cheese Party offers a special culinary networking event at both the AM Expo and the Swiss Medtech Expo once again this year. On Tuesday, September 12, 2023, from 4:00 PM onwards, visitors and exhibitors are invited to exchange ideas over a rich aperitif. "Networking is an important part of our trade fairs. Therefore, we offer the Wine & Cheese Party as an appropriate platform to exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere," says Sara Bussmann.
