ASYS Process & Cleanroom Technology has developed an innovative control panel for CONSIDUS dry storage cabinets. The operator can intuitively make all settings via an integrated touch display and receives relevant information at a glance. Additionally, a smartwatch notifies about status and warning messages, thanks to the connection to the ASYS software solution PULSE. This increases the operational safety of the cabinet and optimizes the storage of components.

Several factors make it easier for the operator to operate the new control system. Familiar touch gestures allow for quick familiarization with the system. Another factor is the streamlined design of the software. With just a "click," more detailed information about all important parameters is displayed. These are presented in clear graphics, making irregularities immediately visible. The operator can also enter and adjust setpoints with a "click." Thanks to these innovations, using the CONSIDUS requires less time.

Furthermore, the control system scores with quick troubleshooting and maintenance. The CONSIDUS is ready for use again after a short time. The revised setup menu makes it easy for service personnel to read relevant information, identify errors, and fix them. The logfile in the new service menu also contributes to this. All actions performed on the cabinet are recorded with date and time. The service menu also shows upcoming maintenance appointments and the maintenance interval. Since this information is constantly available, the storage planning of the components is optimized.

For dry storage systems, a constant relative humidity and temperature are essential. The new user interface of the CONSIDUS makes it easier to monitor these influencing factors due to the vivid display of values on the start screen of the seven-inch touch color display and monitoring via PULSE smartwatch.

CONSIDUS goes PULSE

The ASYS Group offers various devices, connections, and software solutions in the PULSE product area that simplify daily work in a production environment. The application "Alerts & Info," combined with a smartwatch, displays warnings and status messages directly on the operator's wrist. The messages are prioritized by importance and announced via a vibration alarm. This means that, for example, if the relative humidity in the dry storage cabinet reaches a critical value, the operator is informed via the watch. They can immediately take measures to protect the components and restore the dry atmosphere in the cabinet.

Innovative dry technology combined with innovative software

As a result of the adsorption dehumidification technology developed by ASYS Process & Cleanroom Technology, the CONSIDUS reaches the set value of three percent relative humidity again in less than a minute after opening the door. It thus provides optimal protection for highly sensitive components and assemblies. Additionally, the storage is available with a temperature oven. The oven allows active drying of components. Compared to a heated storage cabinet, energy can be saved because not all storage compartments are heated, only the specially insulated temperature oven.
