Arterex: New ISO Class 8 cleanroom expands medical technology manufacturing in Mexico

Arterex has commissioned a new ISO Class 8 cleanroom at its Tecate location in the Mexican state of Baja California, covering an area of approximately 9,000 square feet (about 836 square meters). With this expansion, the medical technology developer and contract manufacturer is responding to increased customer demand and expanding its manufacturing capacities for medical devices.

The new cleanroom has been designed for injection molding, extrusion, and assembly processes of medical products. The facility meets the high requirements for controlled environmental conditions and regulatory standards necessary for the production of highly precise medical devices. The goal is to increase production capacity while ensuring reliable contamination control and consistently high product quality.

With this investment, Arterex is expanding the site’s service offerings with additional capacities for the manufacturing of complex and large-volume medical products. The cleanroom supports integrated manufacturing solutions that combine development expertise, scalable production, and quality-assured manufacturing processes in a controlled environment.
