Arburg in Morocco: Optimal Service with Partner Sopri

A vertical Allrounder 175 V for overmoulding inserts is presented by Arburg S.A.S. and the Moroccan trading partner Sopri at their first joint trade fair appearance at Plast Expo.

From June 2013, the company will be able to offer even better and faster service support in Morocco with its new trading partner Sopri – nationwide. To achieve this, Sopri's service technicians underwent nine weeks of intensive training at the Arburg headquarters in Lossburg/Germany. The French Arburg S.A.S. remains active in sales and customer support in Morocco, as it has been for over 20 years. However, on-site service will now be even more robust thanks to the new cooperation.

As the market leader among European injection moulding machine suppliers, the company enjoys an excellent reputation in Morocco. Its customers include both global players and local companies.

Sopri as an excellent partner
To make their support, which was previously handled exclusively by the French branch in Paris, even more effective, a suitable trading partner was found in Sopri: The Moroccan company, established in the plastics industry since 1978 and well-known nationwide for training and consulting, has unique market knowledge like few others. Up to 12 employees work at Sopri in the two sectors mentioned.

Service support now even more effective
The service technicians working for Arburg in the future have not only completed their training directly at Arburg in Lossburg but will also continue to receive ongoing training to stay up-to-date with the latest technical developments. Arburg customers can rely on the same top-tier service across the country—from Agadir to Tangier, from Marrakesh to Oujda—thanks to Sopri, which is quite a unique offering for Morocco.
Through the local trading partner, the company's service in Morocco aims to become even faster and more effective: Service—including maintenance, commissioning, and calibration of Allrounders—is now part of the service portfolio, along with the supply of spare parts from a central warehouse in Casablanca.

Premiere at Plast Expo
The first joint appearance of Arburg S.A.S. with the trading partner Sopri will take place at Plast Expo from June 19 to 22 in Casablanca. As the first European manufacturer, the company will be represented with a machine at this trade fair. Visitors will see a vertical Allrounder 175 V for insert overmoulding at stand 4M. Vertical machines, which the company offers in the broadest range industry-wide, are very interesting for Morocco, as cable overmoulding plays an important role in the local plastics processing industry.
