Alberto Bartoli is the new CEO of GEFRAN

Alberto Bartoli has been the new CEO of Gefran SpA since May 2017.

Gefran, with over 40 years of industry experience, is a specialist in sensors, particularly in the plastics sector, as well as in industrial automation technology. With a change at the top management, the Italian company continues to focus on growth and innovations for efficient production processes.

Alberto Bartoli (57) has become the new CEO of the Italian sensor and component manufacturer Gefran SpA, effective May 2, 2017. His predecessor, Maria-Chiara Franceschetti (48), daughter of founder Ennio Franceschetti and at the company's helm since 2014, now moves to the supervisory board. Before joining GEFRAN, Bartoli held the position of CEO at an Italian thermostat and burner manufacturer.

"I approach this task with great enthusiasm," emphasizes Alberto Bartoli. "Gefran will continue to focus on steady growth and will leverage the opportunities offered by the strong orientation of the industrial world towards innovation and efficient production processes."

Under Maria Franceschetti, Gefran pursued a restructuring strategy over the past three years, including products in the sensor and power controller sectors. In 2016, the group around the parent company Gefran SpA achieved a consolidated turnover of €119.3 million.
