With the Impact Air, PMT introduces the new gold standard for active airborne microbial sampling in highly sensitive cleanroom environments (GMP Cleanroom Grade A). The Slit-To-Agar sampler operates with a throughput of 28.3 L/min (1 CFM) and 140mm Petri dishes, making it suitable for all microbiological monitoring and sampling strategies. An active laser sensor control continuously monitors and actively regulates the distance between the impact slit and the nutrient agar surface, ensuring maximum efficiency with a single D50 value of 0.45. The Impact Air can be operated either via the large touch screen or the optional remote control. Data can be read via USB or Ethernet or printed directly using an optional printer.

Due to its special hygienic design, the Impact Air is also suitable for use in the most critical cleanroom environments:

- Fully made of 316L stainless steel exterior casing
- HEPA-filtered exhaust air (adaptation possible)
- Minimal human intervention required (sampling from 1 minute to 9 hours, PlateMate ®)
- Extremely quiet and smooth-running pump with very low energy consumption

The ImpactAir air microbial sampler can be used as a standalone solution for both mobile and stationary microbiological monitoring in all GMP cleanroom areas. Integration into central monitoring concepts is possible via FMS software packages.
