A quarter-century of Flat Panel Display Center

Electronic Displays Center Gundersheim, February 4, 2019. Wammes and Partner GmbH turns 25. The company, with its network, specializes in research and production in the field of optoelectronics, with focuses on electronic flat displays as well as light generation and distribution for extreme application areas.

"Although Wammes and Partner GmbH was founded in mid-1993, the operational business regarding flat screens started in spring 1994. Since then, we have naturally adapted and significantly expanded our range of activities and services. Today, we are one of the primary contacts for all questions related to electronic displays — in all applications and for all manufacturers in the B2B sector," says Klaus Wammes, Managing Director of Wammes & Partner GmbH, of which more than 100 of his inventions have now been patented.

Since 2003, his company has been located in the Electronic Display Center in Gundersheim, where it also uses its own research department to share experience with professional users, manufacturers, and integrators from the B2B sector on topics such as optical bonding, embedded displays, heat management, volumetric display, or special light sources. Wammes & Partner supports its customers with troubleshooting and bug fixing through error analysis and material procurement, as well as feasibility studies, consulting, and training with its own cleanrooms, laboratories, and a broad range of measuring equipment.
