A completely new, light-based geolocation system

40 years ago, the founders of ISOONE designed the first cleanroom lighting. Even today, the company develops, manufactures, and sells lighting systems exclusively for the cleanroom industry. ISOONE is a market leader in the French and Spanish markets.

The lighting systems from ISOONE are more than just "light". They are "smart" products that, within the framework of IoT (Internet of Things), play a central role in connecting objects.

This development is made possible by LiFi, short for "Light-Fidelity". It is a new technology that is rapidly growing and offers endless possibilities. This technology is combined with LEDs to transmit information, such as a positioning address.

ISOGEO combines the capabilities of LED and LiFi. ISOONE has created a completely new, light-based geolocation system for the cleanroom industry with ISOGEO. The technology is integrated into the luminaires and a small box that can record, track, and store movements of objects and employees in the cleanroom.

LEDs have the ability to turn on and off several million times per second. Like Morse code, this signal is then converted into a binary format. The luminaires and the box communicate with each other. This way, the box can both receive information from the luminaires and send information, linking it to a CAM database.

LiFi has several advantages:

- 10 times faster than WiFi

• Increase traceability by tracking batches and verifying whether they have gone through all previous steps of your production process. Monitor the progress of batches in real-time and quickly identify blockages.
• Boost productivity by displaying the next production step directly on the box screen.
• Improve cleanroom control by combining ISOGEO with sensors to provide all kinds of information such as temperature, humidity, air pressure, etc.
• Enhance employee safety: for example, the light can send a signal when the H2O decontamination process is complete and the air is clean enough to reopen the cleanroom for staff.
