A cleanroom exactly where it is needed

The requirements for particle- and germ-free work environments are continuously increasing. Especially in laboratories, research facilities, as well as in industrial manufacturing and packaging. In many applications, cleanroom conditions are only needed locally. Building complete cleanrooms in these cases is often associated with disproportionate structural and financial effort.

With the Laminar Flow Box FBS, Spetec offers a solution for the targeted creation of local cleanroom conditions directly at the workstation. The systems generate a uniform, vertical laminar airflow, enabling controlled air quality within a clearly defined workspace.

Depending on the model variant, a Laminar Flow Box FBS covers an effective cleanroom area of approximately 0.37 to 1.12 sqm. HEPA filters of type H14 are used, which filter out at least 99.995% of all particles — based on a particle size of 0.12 μm according to MPPS. This results in a significant improvement in air quality compared to the ambient air and creates the conditions for cleanroom standards up to ISO Class 5.

The Laminar Flow Box FBS is available in various sizes and can be used as both a freestanding unit and a table version. The construction is made exclusively from cleanroom-compatible materials such as anodized aluminum and acrylic glass. The systems have been tested by the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology and Automation.

Thanks to its modular design, the Laminar Flow Boxes can be flexibly integrated into existing work environments — without structural modifications and with minimal installation effort.
