The Blickle wheel series POBS is specifically designed for use in food production and other hygiene-sensitive areas. It is resistant to water and many chemicals, offers high load capacities, as well as very low rolling resistance, and leaves no marks on flooring. This makes it a clean solution even in humid environments.

In the food industry and other sectors that place great importance on hygiene, hard plastic wheels are usually used for material transport. Wheels with standard polyurethane running surfaces are generally not suitable for the often humid environment because they are attacked by water through a process called hydrolysis and wear out more quickly. However, with the Blickle wheels from the POBS series, this problem is a thing of the past: their running surface made from the specially developed, reaction-cast premium polyurethane Blickle Besthane Soft has very high hydrolysis stability. The material also proves to be extremely resistant to numerous aggressive chemicals.

This allows operators to benefit from high-quality polyurethane running surfaces even in humid environments: The Blickle wheels impress, among other things, with very low rolling resistance, high dynamic load capacity, and load capacities of up to 500 kilograms. The wheel body is made of impact-resistant polyamide. The thick, soft cast-on tread ensures a comfortable and quiet ride. It also leaves no traces or discoloration on the floors, which is particularly important in hygiene-sensitive areas. The wheels can be used at temperatures between -25 and +70 degrees Celsius and are maintenance-free under normal conditions thanks to their long-term lubricated and sealed ball bearings.

The POBS series is also available as steering and caster wheels with mounting plates or back holes. The housing is made of high-quality, corrosion-resistant chrome-nickel steel. For particularly demanding requirements, Blickle also offers a heavy-duty version with a sturdy central bolt. Additionally, the steering wheels are available with various locking systems for secure positioning. Blickle's innovation has already proven successful in many customer projects. That is why the wheel and caster specialist has now decided to include the series in its standard program.
