60 Years of Camfil Germany: Tradition, Innovation, and a Clear Commitment to the Future

For six decades, Camfil Germany has been developing solutions for clean air and safe industrial processes. From its founding in 1966, the German subsidiary has become a central part of the international Camfil Group. The company celebrated its milestone anniversary with a large jubilee event in Reinfeld.

Employees from all over Germany and their families came together with international guests from the EMEA region, the corporate group, and representatives of the owner family to celebrate this milestone together. The Reinfeld location has a long tradition: just a few years after its founding, air filter production began here, laying the foundation for the development of Camfil Germany. With modern manufacturing facilities, cleanroom production, and testing laboratories, Reinfeld is now one of the most important production sites of the Swedish group.

From here, innovations have been driven forward over decades, significantly contributing to Camfil's strong market position. Mark Simmons, CEO and President of the Camfil Group, also emphasized the historical and strategic importance: “As the second-oldest site, Reinfeld plays a special role in our company. The innovation capacity and expertise developed here secure our international success.”

The focus of the anniversary celebration was on the people behind the company. In addition to an official program providing insights into the company's history, the event offered space for exchange and meeting, as well as numerous activities for young and old. “We see ourselves as a big family and deliberately invest in the next generation,” emphasized Andreas Klatschow, Managing Director of Camfil Germany. “60 years of Camfil Germany are the result of the commitment of our employees—and the foundation for our success in the coming decades.”
