60 startups at the new Stuttgart Medical Technology Fair

With the "T4M Start-up World," T4M – Technology for Medical Devices – in cooperation with the trade magazine medtech zwo offers a platform to provide entrepreneurs with promising medical technology solutions a professional stage and facilitate exchange with the medical technology industry and investors. At the same time, this aims to open new avenues for cooperation between established mid-sized companies and start-ups.

Sixty start-ups from medical technology will have the opportunity to present themselves at T4M, the new medical technology trade fair in Stuttgart. The exhibition area of the "T4M Start-up World" will be complemented by a Pitching Stage, where start-ups from medical technology can present their business ideas to a professional jury consisting of investors, the medical technology industry, and entrepreneurship experts. In a joint Networking & Partnering Area, new collaborations and partnerships can be initiated.

Throughout all three days of the fair, the "T4M Start-up World" will cover the most important industry segments of medical technology and set focal points along the entire value chain in healthcare:

- Prevention: Mobile & Digital Health, Diagnostics
- Inpatient Care: Cardiology, Oncology, Surgery, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Implants, and Operating Room Technology, etc.
- Outpatient Care: Discharge Management, Therapy Monitoring, Telemedicine
- Rehabilitation: Orthopedics and other aids, etc.
- Nursing: Home Care & Digital Health
- Production/Manufacturing: New Processes & Procedures, Materials

"The offering of T4M Start-up World is a meeting point for all those who are passionate about the medicine of the future," says Sandra Wirsching, Director of Business Development at BIOCOM AG, publisher of medtech zwo. The long-term goal of the concept is to bridge the gap between start-ups and mid-sized companies. Medtech founders receive tips and tricks for implementing new business ideas, information about accelerators, incubators, and access to potential industry partners. But established companies also find a compact overview of the diversity of new trends in medical technology, external financing options, and cooperation opportunities.

The new platform is actively supported by local partners such as the cluster initiatives BioRegio STERN Management GmbH and BIOPRO Baden-Württemberg GmbH, as well as start-up initiatives like the Life Science Accelerator Baden-Württemberg, the Foundation for Medical Innovations, and the MedTech Startup School in Tübingen.
