60 percent funding for young innovative companies

Chillventa offers young innovative companies an ideal platform to establish international business contacts.

Chillventa, as the most important industry platform for refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, and heat pumps, will once again be the international hub from October 16 to 18, 2018. Exhibitors at the fair have the opportunity to engage directly in dialogue with trade visitors from around the world and to establish international business contacts. Start-ups and industry newcomers, that is, young and innovative companies from Germany, are offered a special advantage: as in previous years, they can rely on the support of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, BMWi, for their participation in the fair.

For Chillventa 2018, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy promotes the participation of young innovative companies from Germany. Since mid-2007, the Federal Ministry has supported the participation of such companies in selected international flagship trade fairs in Germany. The program aims to strengthen export business and thereby also the location Germany.

The joint stand organized by NürnbergMesse is supported by AUMA, the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry. According to the new guidelines, trade fair appearances are subsidized with up to 7,500 euros or a cost coverage of up to 60 percent by the BMWi. This includes services such as booth space, basic furnishing, lighting, electricity, cleaning, insurance, communication package, and AUMA fee. The funding rate has been reduced from 70 percent to 60 percent, but now three participations of a company at the same trade fair are subsidized. This also applies to companies that have already received funding twice in the past. Eligible for funding are companies that present product- and process-related innovations, have their headquarters and business operations in the Federal Republic of Germany, meet the current EU definition of a small enterprise, and are younger than ten years.
