50 Years of RK Rose+Krieger

2022 marks RK Rose+Krieger's 50th anniversary. Founded in 1972 as a manufacturer of industrial tube clamping systems, the company from Minden is today a leading developer and manufacturer of high-quality components and functional modules for automation and production applications, convincing its customers with expert advice and a product range that is unique in this form.

Initially, RK Rose+Krieger GmbH produced tube connection elements and tube system linear units. Almost ten years later, the patented BLOCAN® profile assembly system was developed as a modular system for mechanical engineering. Since 1987, the company has been part of the globally operating Phoenix Mecano Group; shortly thereafter, the move to the new company building in Minden took place.

From component supplier to system solution specialist

The then managing director Hartmut Hoffmann had a vision: RK Rose+Krieger should be a leading provider of high-quality components and functional modules in the field of general industrial automation and production applications. This also involved a change in perspective. While the focus used to be on the product itself, today application-oriented solutions are in the foreground.

A new managing director takes the helm

In 2021, Dr. Gregor Langer took over the management of RK Rose+Krieger GmbH. "The RK success concept lies in implementing innovative solutions through close customer dialogue. I will continue and expand this," said Dr. Gregor Langer. "Global trends such as electrification, digitalization, flexibilization, and the topic of holistic health fit perfectly with RK Rose+Krieger's products and open up enormous opportunities." The clear goal of the new managing director is to sharpen the company's offerings for customers and to promote them more prominently. The terms "connect," "position," and "automate" will play a central role in this.

Well positioned for the future

"It is important that we do not sell our products only specifically to one industry, but are very broadly positioned," said Dr. Gregor Langer. "From general machinery and plant engineering to the chemical industry and medical technology – RK Rose+Krieger practically serves all sectors. The guiding principle is: the customer decides how much RK Rose+Krieger can do for them. Our offerings include many catalog products available from stock, variants of these standard components, as well as customer-specific customizations, individual module and system solutions, or special developments that RK Rose+Krieger implements for its customers. Thus, the company is excellently prepared for the next 50 years.
