The new chainflex cables are therefore not only highly durable and flexible but also available in a black design that seamlessly integrates into the discreet and professional appearance of theater and stage technology.

Fail-safe and inconspicuous

Until now, technicians often faced the challenge of choosing from a market that offers robust solutions for industry but neglects the specific aesthetic and mechanical requirements of stage and theater technology. "With our new chainflex series CFSPECIAL.381, we fulfill our customers' wishes for cables that operate fail-safe during movement, are cost-effective, and do not disturb the visual impression," says Katharina Wielpütz. The new series includes the three bus cables CAT6, CAT7, and DMX. Today, the entire igus chainflex range has grown to over 1,350 cable types. This is partly thanks to the company's in-house testing laboratory. Covering an area of 5,500 square meters, igus experts conduct over two billion test cycles annually. Thanks to these tests and the high material quality, igus is the only manufacturer worldwide to offer a 4-year warranty on its cables. igus also offers all cables pre-assembled as readycable or directly integrated into the appropriate energy chain as readychain. For the specific requirements of stage and theater technology, igus has developed further robust and reliable solutions: from the spring cable drum e-spool theater to the zig-zag energy chain system and the e-spool microphone. Variety and expansion for other industries

The market launch of the new cables for stage and theater technology is just the beginning: igus will showcase additional specialized chainflex cables, such as individual conductors for the crane industry and PVC cables for the wood processing and food industries, at SPS in Nuremberg (Hall 4, Stand 310).
