3rd Saarland Cleanroom Forum on June 21, 2012

The manufacturing of medical devices and pharmaceutical products places increasing demands on cleanroom technology: rising technical requirements, changes to the Medical Devices Act, product expansions. At the same time, it is necessary to keep production costs in check in light of rising energy prices.

The "healthcare.saarland" cluster revisits these topics and provides an overview of the latest state of the art. The event is aimed not only at manufacturing companies but also at producers of medical devices, laboratories/microbiological laboratories, universities, plastic injection molders in the medical device sector, as well as pharmacists who are informed about the production of cytostatics and blistering of medications in cleanrooms.

Even this year's event offers participants the opportunity to gain insights into the cleanroom and sterilization areas of the network partner WZB. The cleanroom forum begins early in the afternoon with a tour of WZB's diverse cleanroom environment. The tour is accompanied by WZB's technical staff, and questions are welcome.

Following the presentations, a reception will be held where participants can exchange ideas with the speakers. Participation in the event is free of charge.
