3. Cleanroom Forum of the Cleanroom Ring South

For the third time, the Cleanroom Ring South successfully hosted a professional event on April 9, 2014.

Even the venue itself, the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology and Automation IPA in Stuttgart, was decisive for the theme "The Qualified Cleanroom in Theory & Practice." The technical presentations and the accompanying exhibition also continued the topic through the various cycles of a cleanroom, from planning and material selection to process development within the cleanroom. Participants gained an optimal overview of the cleanroom and its processes in both theory and practice, as well as insights into market trends and developments. The accompanying technical exhibition and the generous planning of breaks provided a forum for information and experience exchange, as well as for making new contacts and creating synergies, which was extensively utilized. A highlight of the event was a tour of the Fraunhofer IPA's testing cleanrooms with ISO air cleanliness classes 1 to 7, as well as the presentation of some testing methods.

The very positive feedback from participants shows the companies involved in the Cleanroom Ring South that this form of event and the linking of various business fields around the cleanroom are very well received by users. Therefore, further events are planned for the future, in which current topics related to the cleanroom will be addressed and explored in depth.
