VDI Conference Cleanroom Technology

On June 12th and 13th, 2013, the 15th VDI Conference on Cleanroom Technology will take place in Stuttgart, at the premises of the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology and Automation IPA, led by Dr.-Ing. Udo Gommel.

The conference is interesting and recommended for employees from the industries of chemicals, pharmaceuticals, microelectronics, or medical technology who work in cleanroom technology, process engineering, or production departments. It is also suitable for individuals working at universities, hospitals, laboratories, engineering firms, and environmental institutes, as well as manufacturers of HVAC systems.

After the welcome and opening of the conference by Dr. Gommel, Prof. Dr. Weißsieker, and Mr. Wollstein, a series of highly interesting technical presentations will follow, interrupted only by moderated discussion rounds, short coffee breaks, and the lunch break, covering topics such as:
- Equipment concepts for injection molding under cleanroom conditions
- System integration from the perspective of a plant manufacturer
- Planning, commissioning, and operation of a cleanroom facility for the production of medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and ATMPs
- Trends in equipment qualification – New approaches in the pharmaceutical industry
- Blow-Fill-Seal – An alternative filling technology for sterile fills
- High output systems in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors
- Automation solutions through the application of mini-environment technology
- Hygienic design – Requirements for machines and equipment in cleanrooms

The end of the first day of the event is around 6:45 PM. Afterwards, and to wind down the first day, the VDI Knowledge Forum invites you to a get-together.

The second day concludes with a summary and farewell by Dr. Gommel around 3:30 PM.
