Overview

Industry 4.0 and the automation of processes in the factory are finding new applications. We are experiencing a digital transformation of production planning. The digital twin not only creates alignment with reality but also opens up possibilities for new planning support tools. Various cloud solutions are emerging, which are now proving themselves under real-world application conditions.

At the planning level, we now ask ourselves where we truly need the digital twin. How does the digital twin help in the context of manual and automated assembly processes? How can agile planning processes actually be implemented?

We will address these topics at the 14th Digital Factory Conference.
