Mewa opens the most modern cleanroom operation in Europe in Meißenheim:
Introduction of the new cleanroom laundry for the DACH region

With the newly established cleanroom operation in Meißenheim (Baden-Württemberg), Mewa is expanding its service offerings for customers in sensitive production areas. From the tri-border region, B2B customers will in the future be supplied with cleanroom clothing through comprehensive service. This includes the provision of certified cleanroom clothing, its processing, as well as cleanroom cleaning, consulting, and training.

The new cleanroom operation is considered the most modern in Europe and sets standards with its construction and energy concept. Climate neutrality was targeted with the building. It meets the requirements for a Gold certification from the German Sustainable Building Council.

The cleanroom laundry is already in regular operation. We would like to give you an insight into the special requirements for processing cleanroom textiles. Afterwards, we invite you to a tour of the facility, where workwear and protective clothing are washed, inspected, and prepared for reuse. More than 76,000 people are equipped for work by us from Meißenheim. Across Europe, around 1.1 million employees wear workwear from Mewa.
