Thomas Klamp
Thomas Klamp (born 1964) studied electrical engineering with a focus on communications technology.
Through an elective course during his studies and his final diploma thesis, in which he planned a cleanroom for a company in the semiconductor sector, his love for airborne particle filters developed.
In 1991, he started at TROX GmbH in product management for filter technology. Through positions as head of the filter laboratory and head of development/design, he was appointed head of filter technology in 2013, and since 2015, he has been responsible for the development, design, production, and sales of the entire filter division.
Across companies, he is very active in standards and guidelines work. He is chairman of the EN1822 working group in CEN and has also contributed to the development of ISO16890.
He is additionally involved with IUTA (Institute for Environmental and Energy Technology) and VIP3000 (Interest Group for Pharmaceutical Construction).
