Stefan Hoch
Mr. Stefan Hoch, born in 1967 in Bad Kreuznach, studied at the "Technical University of Darmstadt," majoring in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Chemical Technology, and graduated with a diploma.
Mr. Hoch has been working at Vaisala in Bonn since 2014 as Sales Manager for Controlled Environment and Life Science. His main areas of activity include managing the sales territory of Southern Germany and Switzerland, providing commercial and technical advice to existing customers, market research, acquiring new customers, maintaining existing client relationships, supporting trade show appearances, and conducting webinars and seminars.
Prior to that, he worked at ABBOTT GmbH, Wiesbaden, Pharma/Diagnostics, as a Senior Validation Specialist. Here, he was responsible for preparing and conducting audits/inspections as a "Staging-Room Manager" (FDA, regulatory, customer, and internal audits), project manager for implementing the Quality System requirements for CBER-regulated products, the main responsible person and approver for validation areas including test method and process validations as well as equipment and machine qualifications, trainer for procedures related to individual validation and qualification processes, SME (Subject Matter Expert) for audits on all validation topics, and responsible and approver for Change Control and Nonconformance processes within the validation team.
From 2000 to 2003, Mr. Hoch worked as Group Leader of the HAVAB team, and prior to that, since 1996, as Senior Product Specialist at ABBOTT GmbH.

Mechanical engineer (like my father)

My parents' Peugeot 205
What are you looking forward to?
My entire family and that we are doing well
Which achievement are you particularly proud of?
Completing an entire marathon six years ago, which many did not believe I could do, and having repeated it twice more.
Which technical achievement do you admire the most?
Mobile phone and smartphone technology and how quickly it advances; 35 years ago, it was still a huge "bone".
Who would you like to swap places with for a month?
Actually no one, because I am happy and content with who and what I am.
In which country would you like to have a second residence?
In Tyrol/Austria, because of the mountains and the many opportunities to climb them
