Sanky Marzouk

Sanky Marzouk was born in 1981 in Cairo, Egypt. After completing his schooling at an international school in Cairo, Marzouk earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of District of Columbia in Washington D.C.. Parallel to his studies, Marzouk founded his first company with two friends at the age of 27, which exported Egyptian cotton products and furniture to Europe and the USA. In 2007, Sanky Marzouk decided to enter the business world and worked as Sales Manager for the North Africa region at the second-largest real estate developer in the Middle East.

In 2009, Marzouk moved to Germany for family reasons and has been active in the cleanroom technology industry ever since. Marzouk worked for the last 8 years at DITTEL engineering GmbH, Schlehdorf, and simultaneously supported the Adriatic Institute of Technology, Ancona, Italy, for the "Shellbe" project. During this time, he also volunteered at the German Cleanroom Institute DDRI e.V. as Head of Events and Marketing.

During this period, he collaborated with various organizations and organized international events that helped build bridges between the European and Middle Eastern markets.

For 5 years, Marzouk was responsible for training in cooperation with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) Munich and Upper Bavaria, helping to bring more than 150 qualified technicians to the market.

In 2022, Marzouk switched to vali.sys gmbh Bubikon, Switzerland, as Head of Business Development, with the goal of establishing the company in the international market and building even more bridges.

What did you want to become as a child?
I wanted to become a rally driver.

What was your first car?
A blue Opel Vectra.

What do you look forward to?
Vacations with my wife and our children.

What achievement are you particularly proud of?
Building bridges for several companies between Europe and the MENA region.

Which technical achievement do you admire the most?
That humanity can produce energy from various sources.

Who would you like to swap places with for a month?
No one.
