Marcel Rutz
Marcel Rutz was born in 1979 in Wattwil, Switzerland. After completing his apprenticeship as a radio and television electrician, he began his professional career at CAS Clean-Air-Service AG. He completed his training as a calibration technician directly at the CLiMET particle counter manufacturer in California, USA. In 2004, he was promoted to head of the calibration laboratory. He is still working at CAS in this role today.
He has regularly continued his technical education at CLiMET. In 2009, he started part-time studies to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration, which he successfully completed in spring 2013. After a short break, he began a two-year further education in autumn 2013 to obtain an EMBA (Executive Master of Business Administration) with a specialization in Service Excellence.
In 2008, he successfully carried out the accreditation of the CAS wind tunnel and was appointed as the SCS testing station manager. In 2011, he took over the management of the SCS accredited testing station for the qualification of cleanroom systems and thermal processes. The SCS testing station was expanded in 2011 through calibrations of CLiMET particle counters and in 2013 with the calibration of volume flow measurement hoods. Marcel Rutz can often be seen representing CLiMET particle counters at trade fairs and conferences.
