Horst Wilkens
Mr. Horst Wilkens studied Mechanical Engineering at the Braunschweig/Wolfenbüttel University of Applied Sciences (now Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences) and graduated as a Dipl.-Ing. in 1986.
After his studies, he worked as a project manager in the planning, execution, and commissioning of several cleanroom large projects in semiconductor manufacturing. Since 1995, Horst Wilkens has been working at Camfil KG.
He started in consulting and sales in the semiconductor, pharmaceutical, and food industries. From January 2009 to January 2011, he was exclusively responsible as Camfil segment manager for the pharmaceutical market segment. From January 2011 to December 2012, he was head of the Camfil Filter Academy and worked as a key account in the pharmaceutical industry. Since January 2013, Horst Wilkens has been head of the Camfil Filter Academy in Germany and Austria.
Particularly noteworthy is his commitment to the 'Research Exchange' of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
In addition to his demanding tasks, he is also an active member of the 'Berenbostel Choir ad libitum' and part of the leadership team of the association 'Evangelischer Aufbruch in Garbsen e.V.'
Horst Wilkens has been married for 25 years and is the father of three daughters.
