Christian Fleuren
Born 1970 in Hagen, raised and living in Düsseldorf since 1971, married, two children.
After graduating from high school in 1989, Christian Fleuren pursued a reserve officer career in the German Armed Forces in the field of language and reconnaissance. After a brief visit to the university, he decided to do an apprenticeship at Deutsche Bank, where he gained the necessary commercial skills for his professional future.
After several years in banking, he moved into craftsmanship, working as an underlayment and flooring specialist in Essen. There, industry caught his attention and made him an offer.
Subsequently, he worked from 1998 to 2020 at Freudenberg Bausysteme KG (later nora systems GmbH) in sales, the last twelve years with a specific focus on industrial, laboratory, and cleanroom applications.
Since 2023, he has been responsible for sales in the cleanroom division of vitec, part of the Viessmann Group (Viessmann Technologies GmbH) based in Hof an der Saale.
First a question about cleanrooms: What is your area of expertise? Where do you have particular knowledge?
Cleanroom floors, and since this year also walls and ceilings.
What did you want to become as a child?
According to my mother, I constantly had changing ideas.
What was your first car?
Golf I, year 82, Mars red
What do you look forward to?
Being in nature as little touched as possible, in the mountains and by the sea.
What achievement are you especially proud of?
Having cycled through various mountain passes and starting to play the saxophone at age 45.
